Strawberry and Banana Smoothie

A heavenly strawberry banana smoothie is a simple, sweet way to brighten any day. This one kicks up with fresh fruit (unless you rather use frozen fruit), Greek yogurt and a little almond milk. Greek yogurt has grown in popularity over the last few years and it gives any smoothie a good thick base. Just a touch of almond milk is added to ensure that everything blends together all velvety smooth. Nothing is more fun than throwing together your own ice cold drinks to enjoy anytime you want them! This particular creation is so great because it is versatile enough to have in the morning for breakfast or in the evening for a nice dessert. Strawberries and bananas go together like a dream, and you might have to make yourself a second smoothie after you try the first one! Don’t be afraid to get creative with it: you can add as many other fruits as you want: like peach, blueberries or raspberries. The more you fine tune the formula, the better the results you’ll have!


1 fresh frozen banana
1 cup vanilla yogurt
¾ cup fresh strawberries
¼ cup almond milk
4 ice cubes


Pour your almond milk in the blender and add the strawberries, banana and yogurt. Blend for about 10 seconds before adding in the ice cubes and blend for another 30 to 45 seconds.
