Mint has always been a summer favorite. Mix it with blackberry and you have summer heaven!
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup blackberries + additional to garnish
1 sprig fresh mint
1 cup fresh lemon juice
4 cups water
1 lemon – sliced
- In a sauce pan add sugar and 1 cup water. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until sugar has dissolved. Add blackberries and mint. Using a muddler, or wooden spoon, muddle the blackberries.
- Add lemon juice and remaining water. Stir to combine.
- Transfer lemonade to a pitcher. Add lemon slices and additional blackberries.
- Serve over ice
