You certainly need something blue at your bridal shower, so why not make it a deliciously sweet, yet sour cocktail? The bubbles in the lemon-lime soda make it ideal for serving in the warm months, but shouldn’t be turned down at any time of the year. It’s also pretty easy to shake up for your guests.
1 fl. oz (2 tablespoons) blue curaçao liqueur
1 fl. oz gin
½ fl. oz vodka
½ fl. oz tequila
½ fl. oz triple sec
½ fl. oz rum
1 fl. oz sweet and sour mix
1/2 cup lemon-lime soda
1 cup ice cubes, plus more for serving
- Half fill the cocktail shaker with ice and place all the ingredients except the soda in the shaker. Add the soda to the shaker and gently stir. Once the ingredients are mixed, strain into a glass over ice.
- Alternatively, you can make a pitcher of this (multiplying the amounts) in advance and then top with the soda just before serving in ice-filled glasses.
